BARC offers our electric members multiple options for reporting power outages:
Please note: From March 25-May 13 outages can only be reported through our customer service number 1-800-846-2272, option 1 and than option 2.
Mobile App
Use the BARC SmartHub mobile app from your phone to quickly report a power outage in real-time. Learn more: Using our SmartHub Mobile App – BARC Electric
Phone Call
Call 800-846-2272 – be sure to have your account number handy when calling to accurately report your outage.
Customer Portal
Access your account through the online Customer Portal and report your outage.
If our service area is experiencing a major outage, you may have difficulty getting through on our phone lines because many of your neighbors may be attempting to call us as well. Please call back or use the BARC mobile app or online Customer Portal to report your outage. Please do not report outages via email or social media as we are not always immediately available through those platforms.
